UX Case Study: TIX.ID

We helped them figure out how to make it intuitive, simple, and easy for users to navigate. The app is meant to be used by people who want to buy tickets at the last minute and aren’t sure what events they should be going to. So we wanted it to be easy for users to find their favorite events, see the schedule of events that are happening around town, and learn about upcoming shows that might be worth seeing. We designed a navigation bar that shows all of the events in your area, with tabs at the bottom of each event listing information about each event (like what time it starts, where it’s being held, and so on). We also created an event map feature that lets users see all of the events happening in different areas around town—just click on any one of those yellow dots on your map and you’ll get directions to go see that particular show.
